Unbeatable view of Barcelona and its port 3 October 2019

This year’s ESMO, the international congress on oncology, was held 27 September – 1 October in Barcelona. Obviously, a man cannot feed on knowledge alone and therefore we planned a very pleasant dinner at 1881 Per Sagardi restaurant. The restaurant itself is located in the History Museum of Catalonia in unique space with an exceptional view of the port of Barcelona. The restaurant’s menu is entirely devoted to the delicacies of Mediterranean cuisine, both from sea and land. Freshly prepared rice dishes, grilled meat, seafood and fish from the Barceloneta fish market are the main gastronomic specialties. Culinary offer 1881 Per Sagardi Is based on local products and the main classics of Catalan and Mediterranean cuisine. The whole experience is crowned with a visit to Terrassa de les Indianes, a modern cocktail bar with a terrace overlooking the harbour. The large terrace offers stunning views of the Barcelona skyline. You can enjoy a rich and creative menu of cocktails and snacks whilst admiring the views and enjoying the music of Barcelona’s DJs. Terrassa de les Indianes is a special tribute to the Catalan- Indian percale fabric, which shaped the core of Catalan trade at the end of the 19th century. A visit to 1881 Per Sagardi is the perfect culmination of a successful evening in Barcelona.
