Pennsylvania Convention Centre 13 July 2020

As preparations for the participation of our groups in September’s international congress on Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders in Philadelphia are underway, we wanted to bring you closer to the place of this meeting: The Pennsylvania Convention Centre. The centre is located on North Broad 119 Street in Philadelphia. It was opened in 1993 and then rebuilt in 2011. Currently, it has over 185 thousand square metres, 7 exhibition halls, 82 conference rooms and a ballroom the size of a football field. Visitors will also find many comfortable lounges, spacious balconies and terraces with an unparalleled view of the Town Hall and Museum Mile, located along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. 250 events take place annually in this very venue. The building is located in the centre of Philadelphia, offering visitors the opportunity to plunge and enjoy the cultural and culinary attractions of the city. Within walking distance from the centre, you will find over 10,000 hotel beds; hundreds of restaurants, shops, historical attractions and cultural institutions. The Pennsylvania Convention Centre is the perfect congress location.
